2Gether on TV, the movie and the series

2Gether, a spoof boyband in a MTV Movie making fun of the whole boyband Phenomenon. Except the movie was more popular than MTV expected and so was the music on the soundtrack. There was a demand for more, so a TV series was developed along with an album. These too were hugly popular, but things took a turn for the worse when the youngest member of the cast passed away.

The cast members of the group sung the songs themselves, which made the line between fantasy and reality a little blurred. They were actors portraying a boyband in the movie and on the show. But they could also sing and so performed on TRL etc as the band.
